7.4.1 Removing the drive

Motor tipping over

Suspend or support the motor to prevent it from tipping over.
▷
For any work on the motor, observe the motor manufacturer's product
literature.

The pump set has been shut down in accordance with the instructions. (

The drive has been switched off and is secured against unintentional start-up.

Suitably dimensioned hoisting tackle is available.

The manufacturer's product literature for the motor is available.

The manufacturer's product literature for the coupling is available.
1. Suspend and secure the motor using suitable hoisting tackle/lifting accessories.
2. Remove the coupling guard.
3. Dismantle the coupling.
NOTE
Note any marking on the coupling or mark the coupling to prevent any confusion at a
later stage.
4. Remove the spacer sleeve of the connecting coupling, see the manufacturer's
product literature.
5. Store the parts properly.
