7.4.6.1

Removing the motor housing cover

NOTE

If the motor housing cover is removed the power cable must be replaced with a
new one.

Suitable hoisting tackle is provided.

✓

The pump set has been disconnected from the power supply. It has been
securely placed on a level surface in vertical position.

Attach a lifting accessory to the eyebolts.

Attach the lifting accessory to the eye hook of the hoisting tackle.

Undo the hexagon socket head cap screws.

Carefully lift off motor housing cover 812.

Lift the motor housing cover up further until the power and control cables can
be disconnected.

Disconnect the power cable and control cable at cable glands 834.01 and 834.03
in the motor.

Unscrew and remove cable glands 834.01 and 834.02 from motor housing cover
812 as required.

7.5 Reassembling the pump set

Damage to the pump!

Reassemble the pump (set) in accordance with the general rules of sound
engineering practice.

Use original spare parts only.
