If the specified tolerances are exceeded, disconnect the power cable at the pump set
and repeat the check inside the motor.
If the tolerances are exceeded here, too, the motor part must be opened and
overhauled. The temperature sensors are fitted in the stator winding and cannot be
replaced.
If the sensors are defective, use the back-up sensors provided at the same place in the
stator winding.

Measurement between terminals ...
Resistance
9 and ground conductor (PE)
> 60 k
Ω
Lower resistance values suggest water ingress into the motor. In this case the motor
section must be opened and overhauled.

If the readings suggest an open switch, check for mechanical seal leakage.

Removing the pump set
7.2.2.1
Removing the pump set
✓
The power cables have been disconnected and secured against accidental start-
up.
✓
The discharge tube has been removed from the piping.
1.
Undo the screwed connections between the discharge tube and the diffuser
casing.
2.
Pull the cable back into the discharge tube.
3.
Remove the motor support.
4.
Pull the pump set out of the discharge tube.
5.
Attach a suitable lifting accessory to the eyebolts of the pump set.
6.
Attach the lifting accessory to the eye hook of the hoisting tackle.
7.
Lift the pump set with the hoisting tackle (e.g. crane).
⇨
Guiding the pump set over the edge of the bellmouth or pump casing is only
permissible on a wooden base!
⇨
Protect the power cables against kinking!
8.
Place the pump set on a clean and level surface, and protect it against
overturning, tipping over and rolling off.
WARNING
Pump set tipping over
Risk of squashing hands and feet!
▷
Suspend or support the pump set.
