Adjusting the swather

4.4 Setting the working height

The exact height of the swather disc is set using the
crank (1). The working height depends on the travelling
speed and the condition of the crop.

If the setting is too high then the feed
will not be lifted completely and if the
setting is too low then there is the
danger that the feed will be dirtied,
the turf will be damaged and that
wear on the twin-spring tines will be
increased.

Swivel the right (2) and left (3) hoop guard into the
working position. As the left hoop guard is swivelled
down, the anti-rotation lock (1) swivels up.
