Place cabin front 30 down onto the centre hook
and fix with tape to the cabin sides. Then glue.
Stick together the boat stand with parts 49 to 51
as shown on the drawing.
You can later tear some rope through the holes,
to carry your model or place it into the water with
the stand.
Now varnish the inside of the boat with clear
lacquer, filler or similar. After the deck is placed,
some places inside would be difficult to reach.
Place the servo tray 31 into the slots of bulkhead
3 and 4.
Drill the centre hole with an angle for fixing
screw 32 with a 2.0 mm drill.
Now its time to place the deck. Give glue to the
upper edges of the bulkheads and stringers as
well as on the deck support strips.
Slide the deck 33 under the rear ends of the
cabin sides and press it over the cabin.
Fix the deck with tape to the hull until the glue
has set.
Glue the rear transom 34 onto bulkhead 3 and
sand flush with floor and side plates of the hull.
Preparation of motor and electronics
Solder the condensators 40 and cables 39 to the
motor 38.
Screw the motor to motor mount 35.
Fix coupling 36 to the motor shaft.
Slide the prop shaft through the tube.
Place collar 89 and the coupling 36 onto the
prop shaft.
Motor and shaft should be in line. If necessary,
sand the motor mount 35 for a good fit.
Glue motor mount with adapted motor and shaft
as one unit onto the floor of the hull.
Cover the motor and coupling from later painting
with a plastic bag, tape or similar.
Bend the rudder linkage 44 as shown.
Bend a radius to the lower end of rudder shaft
41 to fit into rudder blade 42 and glue it in with
Epoxy.
Sand both sides of the rudder and glue both
rudder blades 43 one to each side. Sand a drop
profile, round at the front, pointed at the end.
Servo
Adjust the servo to its centre position, using your
radio control.
Place the rubber inserts to the tray of the servo.
Stick the rivets
from downside
into the rubber
inserts.
Place rudder linkage into the second hole of the
servo arm. Saw away the rest of the servo arm.
Screw the servo into the servo tray.
Saw away the outside rest from rudder arm 45
through the second hole from outside.
