Building Instructions Müritz
Order-No. 20350
Müritz originally was a very famous design in the
former GDR, East Germany, in the time when
Germany was devided into 2 countries. The
model was designd by Karl Schulze and built in
many modelling groups in the 1950s and 60s.
The simple bulkhead design with big plywood
bottom and side parts of the hull let´s the model
build up quick and easy.
This model kit of the old design has been
designed completely new by CAD for use with
modern radio control and actual electric motors,
but with the complete character of the historical
model. All plywood parts are ready cut out by
laser. The following step-by-step instruction
helps beginners and advanced modellers to
build up the model quickly.
Introduction:
The building of this model should follow in the
same order as the instruction shows. Some
parts need to be cut with a modelling knife or
adjusted with files or sand paper. All parts need
to be checked “dry” without glue, if they fit
correctly. Before the next step all glue should be
well fixed. As the best glue for wood we
recommend Deluxe Aliphatic Resin. It dries
totally hard and is easy to sand afterwards. It
also dries at low temperature and it is water
tight.
For the fixation of the windows we recommend
Deluxe Tacky glue. Please do NOT tear of the
covering of the clear window material. It is
important to glue them in covered and to tear the
covering off only when fixed.
