3 Transport and storage
3.1 Transport
n The pneumatic agitator is protected by cardboard packaging.
n The cardboard packaging can be reused for storage.
3.2 Delivery condition
Immediately upon receipt check the delivery for completeness and damage from transport.
In the event of visible exterior transport damage, proceed as follows:
n
Do not accept delivery or only do so with reservations.
n Record scope of damage on the transport documents or on the bill of delivery of the shipping
company.
n Initiate complaint.
3.3 Storage
Store packages subject to these conditions:
n Do not store outside.
n
Dry and dust-free storage.
n Keep away from any aggressive media.
n
Protect from UV radiation.
n Avoid mechanical shocks.
n Storage temperature: 5 to 35 °C.
n Relative atmospheric humidity: max. 60%.
n For storage for longer than 3 months, check the general condition of all parts and the pack-
aging on a regular basis. If necessary, refresh or renew the conservation.
It is possible that there are notes on the packing pieces concerning the storage that extend
beyond the requirements listed here. Follow those accordingly.
3.4 Unpacking
Immediately upon receipt check the delivery for completeness and damage from transport.
In the event of visible exterior transport damage, proceed as follows:
n Do not accept delivery or only do so with reservations.
n Record scope of damage on the transport documents or on the bill of delivery of the shipping
company.
n Initiate complaint.
Report any damage as soon as it has been detected. Damage claims can only be asserted
within the applicable complaint period.
