13. Storage
When the device is not in use, observe the following storage conditions:
The storage location of the device must be dry and free of frost.
The device must be stored upright.
The device must be protected from dust. If necessary, cover with wrapping or with the
original packaging box.
Before restarting the device, check the condition of the power cord. If there is any doubt
whatsoever about its condition, the power cord must be replaced.
Have the device checked annually by a qualified electrician.
14. Disposal
The Krantz VIRUS
PROTECT
is an electrical device.
At the end of its service life, the device must be disposed of as an electrical device.
Collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment are available in your area for free return. You
can obtain their addresses from your city or local authority.
The separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment is intended to enable reuse; material
recycling, especially of the stainless steel housing, or other forms of recycling of old devices; and to avoid
the negative consequences to the environment and human health associated with the disposal of the
hazardous substances that may be contained within these devices.
