Configuring Dual Displays 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS

 enables you to connect two displays simultaneously. You 

can configure the displays as duplicates, to show the same content or you can use one as the 
main display and the other as an extension, to provide additional screen space. 

To configure the behavior of dual displays: 

1.  On the System Control Tab (see 

Accessing System Controls

 on page 

81

), click 

Display

. 

The Screen Resolution window appears. 

 

Make sure secondary display is connected to the gateway. 

2.  From the Multiple Displays drop-down, select 

Duplicate these displays

 or 

Extend 

these displays

. 

3.  Click 

OK

. 

The displays restart with the selected configuration. 

Enabling a Second Network 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS 

enables you to connect to the device using two separate 

networks. For details about how to properly configure this feature, refer to VIA Multiple 
Network Installation Guide, available at:  

www.kramerav.com/product/VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS

. 

To enable a second network:

  On the Gateway Dashboard Settings Screen, select the 

Enable Dual Network

 

checkbox. 

 

To view and/or change LAN settings for the second network, select 

Show LAN2 Details

 from 

the dropdown. 

 

 

If you do not require a second network, make sure to disable the dual network feature and 
deactivate or unplug the unneeded RJ-45 cable to avoid unwanted communication from this 
socket. 

Accessing System Controls 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS 

enables you to access 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² 

PLUS

 operating system

 

controls such as audio settings, display settings, and system health. 

You can also view log files and activate your 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS 

unit.  

 

The log folder is only available if system logging is activated. 

  

 

The 

VIA Campus², VIA Campus² PLUS 

unit is pre-activated by Kramer. In case your license
