MAIN MENU
The main menu consists of five main headings S
how, Charge control, Alarm,
Settings and Advanced.
Use the “

” buttons to browse through the
main headings. Ensure that the
Select
action option is highlighted and then
press the OK button to continue to the selected main heading.
A set of main headers is concealed behind the
Advanced
main heading.
These manage the test and calibration functions and basic selections of functions and basic data.
If PCM2 is used solely as a monitor (number of rectifiers = 0) the
Charge control
option cannot be
selected.
WARNING!
The settings under the Advanced heading are critical for the functionality of the
system. Start by reading carefully through the instructions in this manual. Then only change if you
are absolutely sure about what you are doing!

SHOW
5.7.1
General
Under the
Show
header there is a presentation of status in the form of
measurement values and other operating data from battery, rectifier and the
general system. This includes displaying certain operating statistics.
If PCM2 is used solely as a monitor (number of rectifiers = 0) the
Rectifier
option cannot be
selected.
5.7.2
Show battery related data
Shows battery terminal voltage, battery mid voltage and battery temperature.
The mid voltage and temperature are only shown if relevant measuring
sensors are installed. This is controlled in the
Functions
menu, see sections
5.13.3 and
5.13.4.
5.7.3
Show rectifier
5.7.3.1
Show voltage and current
Show the voltage and current that each rectifier unit measures and reports to
the monitoring unit.
To show more detailed information on a rectifier unit, select the
Detail
action
option.
5.7.3.2
Show detailed rectifier data
Available data from the rectifier unit are different between different rectifier models.
Rectifier module type PCS and newer models of PRM3
Available data from the rectifier unit are stored in a 16 bits status word. The
row with individual bits starts with bit 15 to the left and ends with bit 0 to the
right. The row below shows the status word in decimal form in three ways. In
the middle is the value of the complete 16 bits word, to the right the lower 8
bits of the word and to the left the upper 8 bits of the word. A table that
describes the individual bits is found in
Appendix_C
