Instruction for the installer
DHW pump
The boiler is able to control DHW pump. The pump operation can be set to meet the individual needs (24hours
program). The pump should be connected to ZIO board as shown in fig.6 (page 8). The pump is supplied with 230V.
Connecting the mixing valve of the second circuit.
The ZTM contacts of ZIO22 board enables to connect the mixing valve with 3 point drive to supply the second
heating circuit (fig.3 ZM valve). This circuit must be adjusted to the lower parameters than the circuit of the boiler e.g.
when the circuit of the boiler is set for the maximum temperature of 85
o
C (see the
„

for WChG,WChG2,
Tcomax and Tc2max parameters), the second circuit can supply the underfloor heating system with the maximum
temperature of 60
o
C. In this case it is necessary to remember that the extra safety devices has to be installed to pre-
vent the overheating of the second circuit. The WE-008 sensor measures temperature of the second heating circuit.
Cascade connection
You can connect number of boilers to increase power. The maximum number of slave unit (EKCO.L1z or ECKO.T)
in cascade is 8. The slave unit must be equipped with a special controller to enable cascade connection. For hy-
draulic connection details see fig.7a.

Three-way valve connection (DHW Cylinder)
There is a ZAS connector on ZIO22 board. (fig.6, page 8). If there is a need to heat-up the water in the DHW
cylinder the LB contact is is supplied with 230V. In the case of boiler heat the water in the central heating system
the LA contact is fed from 230V supply. You can connect a three-way valve to the ZAS connector to switch the
central heating system circuit for DHW, if necessary. In the case of DHW heating the outlet temperature is set at
80
0
C (standard set point). You can lower the outlet temperature by setting the

to use the VCZMH6000E three-way valve with the VC6012ZZ00 servo-motor and the 45900445-013B wire. The
three-way valve work is controlled by supplying voltage of 230V to either brown or black wire. The blue wire must
be connected to the terminal of neutral conductor

. If you use the brown wire you will open the port between

outlet. If you use the black wire you will open the port between

Fig.6 shows the three-way valve connection diagram. Connection diagram is based on the following assumptions:
the boiler hot water outlet is combined with the

inlet of valve. A and B outlets function:
A - CH system
B - supplying of DHW Cylinder .
In this configuration you must connect:

black wire of 45900445-013B cable to the LA terminal (in ZIO board)
-
brown wire of 45900445-013B cable to LB terminal (see fig.6)
-
blue wire of 45900445-013B cable to the N terminal (see fig.6)
