ACPI Configuration

ACPI Configuration settings allow you to select the Advanced Power Management (APM) options.

General ACPI Configuration

11.3.6.1.

Suspend Mode

This option allows you to select the ACPI state used for System Suspend.

It is possible to choose between:

Auto

S1 (POS) and

S3 (STR).

S1 (POS) Power On Suspend:

The system appears off. The CPU is stopped. RAM is refreshed. The system is

running in a low power mode.

S3 (STR): Suspend to RAM:

The system appears off. The CPU has no power. RAM is refreshed. The system is

running in a lower power mode than S1.

11.3.6.2.

Repost Video on S3 Resume

This option allows you to determine whether you invoke a VGA BIOS POST on S3/STR resume.

Available settings: Yes and
