PX MultiSensor Mk2 description
The PX MultiSensor Mk2 is a wireless multifunction catch monitoring sensor. Using one
or more wireless catch monitoring sensors placed in your trawl doors and/or fishing gear,
you will get real time monitoring information of the gear and its behaviour.
The Simrad PX MultiSensor Mk2 is provided in several different versions.
• Standard
• Depth/Temperature (D/T)
• Geometry transponder (70 kHz lid)
The version is defined by the type of sensor lid. The basic version of the sensor has
a neutral lid.

Available measurements

can make depend on its lid type, its physical location on the gear and on the type of
receiver interfaced. The PX MultiSensor Mk2 can make the following measurements:
• Door spread and Twin spread
• Roll
• Pitch
• Height (altimeter)
• Geometry
• Geometry differential
• Battery status
• Depth (Lid dependant)
