AIR FILTER
Regular maintenance of the air filter is necessary to maintain sufficient air flow in
the carburetor. Be sure to check it for soiling from time to time as follows:
1. Unscrew the clip on the top cover of the air filter.
2. Remove the sponge filter element from the housing.
3. Remove soil inside the filter housing.
4. Rinse the sponge filter element in warm water and then wipe it dry.
5. Soak a dry filter in fresh engine oil and squeeze it to remove excess oil.
6. The filter must be cleaned every 50 hours of operation of the cultivator.
