Caring for the machine

Cleaning the housing

Clean the fax machine housing regularly to prevent excessive collection
of dust.

➜

Wipe the housing with a soft cloth, If necessary, the cloth can be
slightly soaked with a neutral household cleansing detergent.

CAUTION

Damage to apparatus due to using wrong cleansing substance!
The housing can be damaged when cleaning with substances containing
alcohol or benzine.

➜

Only clean the housing with a neutral household detergent.

Cleaning document transport rollers 1 and 2

Clean the document transport rollers 1 and 2 regularly. Dirty transport
rollers can cause faulty document feeding.

Fold the control panel forwards.

Press the document sensor.

The document transport rollers will
start rotating.
