Cleaning the printer head nozzles

Clean the printer head nozzles if the print-out is no longer of optimum
quality.

Press the [MENU] key seven times.
Confirm your choice by pressing the
[SET] key.

Press the [SET] key.

A test page will be printed out.

Compare the thin lines above and
below the black strip.

Are the line continuous?

If yes, the printer head nozzles
are clean.

The cleaning procedure
is complete.

Are the lines interrupted?

If yes, the printer head nozzles
are blocked.

➜

Repeat the cleaning procedure.

If the third test print-out is still
not acceptable
Renew the ink cartridge and repeat
the cleaning procedure.
