14.1 Construction
• The Synchronizing Roller ensures that the paper is fed off from the transport section in
time with the exposure timing of the exposure section (PH).

1 Synchronizing Roller
Transports the paper onto the developing section.
2 Transport Roller
3 Paper Dust Remover
Prevents paper dust from sticking to the surface of the
PC Drum.
4 Synchronizing Roller Sensor (PC1)
Determines the condition of the paper being trans-
ported, thereby detecting a paper misfeed and paper
transport timing.
5 Synchronizing Roller Clutch (CL1) Controls drive of the Synchronizing Roller.
