Component setting is changed by selecting a component number and confirm with Component settings con-
firm , where after the Component name field is changed to show the current component.
The above are the only values that can be changed by User Operator. The following values for the component can
be changed individually, but only by user Tech. All times are given in milliseconds (ms) and all lengths in mm.
• Container low level setting adjusts when the info Low level appears, relative to the bottom of the container. A
distance of approx. 200mm is recommended.
• V1 Conveying speed setting adjusts the system suction velocity, in m/s. This value should be set as low as
possible to avoid damage to the components. In general, do not convey the components faster than what the
desired capacity allows and what is needed. As a starting point, one can hold a container of components up
to the telescopic pipe and check if the components are effectively sucked up. Subsequently, the suction veloc -
ity can be lowered until there is no longer effective suction, and then increased by e.g. 1- 2 m/s. In addition,
the blower speed should be adjusted according to the transport length and the components transported, etc.
Always adjust to the lowest required air velocity, to ensure as gentle transport as possible, and to reduce noise
and energy consumption. NB - Kongskilde offers a control (Multi Unit Control) that allows the CPU to control
the performance of e.g. a MultiAir FC blower,see section "Accessories".
• V2 Pickup speed setting adjusts the combination of boost air and suction air velocity. This value thus indi-
cates V1 suction air ve boost air velocity, and should basically be twice the V1 Conveying speed. If V2 is
set too high, the components are sucked to the bottom perforated part of the telescopic pipe.
