This is the disk gang pitch adjuster.
This is the disk gang pitch adjuster when as-
sembled.
This shows the connecting point between two individual
disk gangs. Please take note of the intergang scraper.
When the flange bolts are tightened down, the disc gang tubes
bow slightly. Leave the flange bolts loose until the pillow
blocks have been tightened down.
Mount the pillow
blocks to the disk
gang tube close to
the spring plate on
the wings to prevent
side movement.
