4.6.1
Connecting Alternating Current (AC)
Ensure all electric devices including lines and plug connection are in good condition before connection to generator.
Ensure total load is within generator rated output.
Ensure receptacle load current is within receptacle rated current.
1. Start
engine.
2. Plug into AC receptacle (A24, A25, and A11).
3. Turn on any electric devices.
AC Rated Power:
AC rated power is maximum amount of power generator can support.
AC Maximum Power:
AC maximum power is additional power generator momentarily produces to aid in starting of electrical
devices requiring power above generator's rated power requirements.
4.6.2 Voltage
Selector
When power selector switch (A13) is in 120V/240V position, 120V is supplied to all electrical sockets (A24, A25 & A11) and 240V is
supplied to 120V/240V/30A electrical socket (A24). When power selector switch (A13) is in 120V position, only 120V is supplied to
electrical sockets (A25 & A11). Ensure to turn main circuit breaker (A17) to OFF position before using power selector switch to
avoid accidentally damaging generator because of any connected load that may be drawing power from unit.

Switching the Generator Set Off
1. Disconnect plugs from electrical sockets (A24, A25, & A11) and close the cover for the unit's electrical sockets.
2. Allow the unit to run idle for 1 or 2 minutes.
3. Set the engine on/off switch (A7) to "
OFF
": the unit will shut down.
4. Close the fuel valve (A5).
5. Ensure the unit is properly ventilated and to avoid any risk of fire, wait for it to be fully cool before covering it and storing it.
Even when the unit is turned off, the engine continues to give off heat.
Section 5. Generator Set Maintenance
As a safety measure, maintenance should be performed on the generator set regularly and carefully by people who have the
necessary experience and are equipped with suitable tools, in respect of current regulations. The maintenance operations to be
carried out are detailed in the maintenance table. The interval for this is supplied as a guide and for generator sets operating with
fuel and oil which conform to the specifications given in this manual. The maintenance intervals can be shortened depending on the
generator set's operating conditions and requirements. It is important to note that the warranty shall not be valid if generator set
maintenance has not be performed correctly.
5.1
Maintenance Intervals Table
The maintenance frequency is given as an indication only and is for devices using fuel and oil complying with the specifications
given in this manual. The maintenance intervals can be shortened depending on the unit's operating conditions and requirements.
Perform the maintenance operations at the indicated due dates even if the number of hours' operation has not been reached.
The
warranty will be invalidated if maintenance of the unit has not been performed correctly.
