DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY

Clean the filtering element with air blast. Air must be blown

from inside to outside the cartridge at a distance of at least 15

cm from the paper.

Lightly and repeatedly tap the element on a hard surface to
eliminate all excess dirt.

Open air cleaner (fig. 4).

Unscrew the wing nut

(fig. 4a) and remove the filter element (fig. 5).

Check the rubber seal is undamaged

(fig. 5a)

Clean the filtering element with air blast.

If the filtering element has been already cleaned other times, or if it is

irreparably clogged, throw it away and replace .

Refit the air filter and make sure the seal

is properly inserted, then

tighten the wing nut

Make sure that the filter is mounted in the correct way other-

wise dust and other impurities could ilfiltrate into the intake

ducts.

Prefilter for dry air filter

Remove and clean the pre-filter if clogged.
