Service the Solenoid
Remove the Solenoid
Close the control stop valve.
NOTE:
If the unit has not flushed since the stop valve was closed, the inlet arm may
still be pressurized. Use the manual flush button to release pressure.
Using a 3/32
″
hex wrench remove the setscrew from the cap, then remove the cap.
Disconnect the DC sensor connector from the solenoid connector by pulling the
two connectors apart.
Using an adjustable wrench, turn the solenoid assembly counterclockwise to
remove it from the valve body.
Reinstall the Solenoid
Align the solenoid assembly to the hole in the piston cover.
Install the solenoid assembly and tighten with an adjustable wrench by turning
clockwise. Do not overtighten.
Connect the DC sensor connector to the solenoid connector. Make sure the
solenoid wires are not caught between the cap and the valve body.
Place the cap on the valve body and secure with the setscrew.
Open the control stop valve.
Verify that the valve functions.

REMARQUE:
Si l’unité n’a pas effectué de chasse depuis la fermeture de la valve
d’arrêt, le bras d’entrée pourrait encore être pressurisé. Utiliser le bouton de chasse
manuelle pour libérer la pression.
