4.5 Menu 7: Calculation

4.5.1 Calculating the distance and bearing between two points

You can calculate the distance and bearing between two points stored in memory.

(1) Press key until Menu options 1 to 10 appears.

(2) Press

key to select “

7: Calculation

”.

(3) Press

key to select “

1: 2Points

”.

(4) Enter a (4-digit) origin WPT number (0000 to 4999).

(5) Press key.

(6) Press [ ] key.

(7) Enter a (4-digit) final WPT number (0000 to 4999).

(8) Enter “N” for north or “S” for south latitude.

(9) Press key.

4.5.2 Calculating LOPs based on LAT/LONG data

You can enter a Loran C, Loran A or DECCA chain number and two secondary stations, NAVIGATOR

calculates the LOPs based on the specified LAT/LONG data and displays the LOP values.
