Updating the KODAK Driver

Installing the Software Driver
This section describes how to update the driver on your hard disk, either
the KODAK Driver for Adobe Photoshop Software (Macintosh) or the
KODAK TWAIN Driver.
The section assumes that you have downloaded the desired files as
described earlier in this appendix, or that you have received a new
diskette from Kodak with these files.
Updating the KODAK Driver for Adobe
Photoshop Software (Macintosh)
1. Complete all the steps in “Installing the KODAK Driver for Adobe
Photoshop Software (Macintosh)” in Chapter 3, except as noted here.
Since you will be replacing files (KODAK RFS 3570 and
RFS3570.BIN) with new versions, you may wish to save the older
versions of the files by copying them to a backup diskette.
If the files have been downloaded from a network (instead of
obtained on a diskette), use the downloaded files from their
location on your hard disk (since there is no diskette).
When you copy the new files to the appropriate location on your
hard disk, you will be prompted to confirm that you want to
replace the existing files. After backing them up, as suggested just
above, you can replace the files.
2. Access the new driver by completing the steps in Chapter 5, “Using
the KODAK Driver for Adobe Photoshop Software — Macintosh
Computer.”
