Rotate the front dial to set the amount of time that you want to delay before taking the shot, from
¼ second to 2 minutes, 8 seconds.

To cancel the
self-timer once it has
been activated, push
and then release the
shutter release button.

Release the shoot options button.

The self-timer is set. The self-timer icon

appears on the handgrip display.

Push the shutter release button to activate the timer.

The camera system waits for the specified amount of time and then takes a shot.

Shooting continually with the mirror locked up

Lock your camera's mirror into the up position to increase shooting speed.

Set the power dial to single or continuous shooting.

Push the mirror lock button.
