2. VariTrans® P 42000 TRMS
Universal AC/DC high-voltage transmitter
for sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal AC input
signals in the range from 10 V to 3600 V.
True RMS value as standard-signal output
for further processing in controllers or data
acquisition systems. Calibrated selection of
input and output. The broad-range power
supply operates from 20 V to 253 V AC/DC.

• VariTrans® P 42000 D2 TRMS-nnnn / P 42000 D3 TRMS-nnnn
The working voltage for basic insulation (overvoltage category III,
pollution degree 2) is 2.2 kV.
The 16 measurement ranges are selected using an insulated rotary
coding switch on the device front or by reconnecting the output lines.
The D2 housing version is used for input voltages up to 1200 V AC, for
voltages above 1200 V AC the D3 housing is used.

The working voltage for basic insulation (overvoltage category III,
pollution degree 2) is 3.6 kV. The devices come with fixed ranges.
The D2 housing version is used for input voltages up to 1200 V AC, for
voltages above 1200 V AC the D3 housing is used.
