In the following section the procedure to connect the instrument to the

PC using the crossover UTP cable is described. Configure the IP address

of the PC LAN network card by executing the following steps (in this

example Windows 7 OS is used, in Windows 8 the example screens may

look different):

Right click on the Network icon in the bottom right of the Windows

taskbar and open the menu ‚Open Network and Sharing Center‘.

Alternative: open Windows start menu, open control panel and go to

‚Open Network and Sharing Center‘):
