Pairing the speaker with wireless devices
Note:
Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in
Bluetooth
®
feature available.
Plug the unit and press button on the unit or the button on the remote to activate the
speaker functions.
Next, enable the
Bluetooth
®
feature on your audio device and set it to discover the wireless speaker.
Remember to place your wireless device and the speaker not more than one meter away from
each other.
Select the
Bluetooth
®
feature on the speaker by pressing the
Source
button found on the front
panel or the remote control. The blue LED will start blinking fast, accompanied by a tone, to
indicate that the speaker has entered into the pairing mode.
Once the speaker appears listed under the newly found
Bluetooth
®
devices (
KWS-711
) of your
wireless device, it will ask if you want to pair with it.
Accept by pressing
Yes
or
Ok
. If you have a lower
Bluetooth
®
version, you may be prompted to
enter the passkey
0000
(4 zeros).
When pairing is successful, another short beep will be generated, making the blue LED appear
steady on the front panel. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through
6 described above.
The speaker re-pairs automatically with memorized devices after being turned off and on again.
