STARTING AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE
Put the Manual Battery Master Switch to “ON”.
Make sure the clutch [Photo 8 – A] is in position "STOP". If the selector is on the
"START" position, rotate the Clutch and take it to the "STOP" position.
ATTENTION! Turning on the machine with the clutch engaged could overload
the motor and damage it.
Open the service valve on the propane tank by slowly turning the knob
counterclockwise [Photo 9 – A].
ATTENTION! It is important to slowly open the service valve to allow
you to balance the pressure in the pipes.
With the thrust lever [ Photo10 – A] located about half-way between maximum
speed and minimum speed, operate the starter motor turning clockwise the
ignition key [Photo 8 – B] to START position for about 5 seconds, operating
simultaneously on the accelerator.
If the engine does not start, turn the ignition key [Photo 8 – B] in the OFF position
for about 10 seconds, then try again to start it for another 5 seconds.
After the engine starts release the ignition key (which will automatically in RUN),
and warm up the engine for about 30 seconds, placing the thrust lever [Photo10
– A] approximately half-way between maximum speed and minimum speed.
WARNING! Catalytic converters require a few minutes of heating to effectively
remove harmful emissions. During the
heating
of the catalytic
converter ensure adequate ventilation.
The engine speed can be varied by adjusting the thrust lever [Picture 10 – A],
and precisely, pushing the bolt handle forward the engine rpm increases,
while pulling back the number of rpm will be reduced.
To stop the engine, turn the key from the "RUN" position to the "OFF" position.
Put the Manual Battery Master Switch to “OFF”.
WARNING! For safety reasons, always close the propane tank valve to stop the
engine and turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
NOTE! This machine is equipped with "EcoSense Emissions Monitoring System"
Ecosense is a waste gas monitoring device which switches off the engine if
the emission levels are too high or too low. Ecosense calculates the information
from the oxygen sensor [Photo 12 – A] placed on the catalytic converter.
it is recommended that all operators of propane powered equipment wear Carbon
Monoxide Indicator badges as an extra precaution.
The plastic indicator contains a colored indicator button which darkens in the
presence of Carbon Monoxide. The relative darkness of the indicator button
indicates the level of CO in the ambient atmosphere.
Most indicator badges have a useful life of 30 days, depending on the
concentration of contaminants, humidity, and temperature.

In
questa fase tenere le mani saldamente sul manico e assumere una adeguata e
stabile postura.
ATTENZIONE! Con la rotazione del planetario e degli utensili ha inizio la fase di
lavorazione delle superfici.
