Notes on location and operation
Note: The grill is designed for outdoor use only, at a safe distance from any
flammable material.
• It is of utmost importance that there are no obstacles above the grill and that there is
a minimum distance of 1 m to the rear and sides of the appliance.
• Be careful not to block the grill vents.
•
The grill must be placed on a flat, stable and fire-resistant surface.
• The unit should be protected from direct draft and dripping water (such as rain).
• Device components sealed by the manufacturer must not be changed by the user.
• Do not modify the grill in any way. Repairs and maintenance should only be carried
out by customer service or a similarly qualified person.
• Do not let children use the grill or play near the grill.
• Make sure that there is no flammable material near the grill.
• Do not block the holes in the bottom and at the back of the grill.
• Regularly check the flame of the burner.
• Use the grill only in a well-ventilated area. Never use the grill under carports,
garages, canopies, covered patio or other superstructures.
• Do not use coal or briquettes with a gas grill.
• Place the grill at least one meter away from walls and surfaces. Keep a distance of
at least 3 meters from objects which could catch fire or sources of ignition such as
warning lights on water heaters, live electrical appliances, etc.
