Notes:
• Ensure that the mobile phone(s) is
switched on and connected to the Wi-
Fi and that the cooker hood is in Wi-Fi
setting mode.
• Ensure that the router and the app
mobile network are working properly.
• Keep the distance between the cooker
hood, router and mobile phone(s) as
small as possible during Wi-Fi confi-
guration.
• The Smart Home cooker hood current-
ly only works in conjunction with a 2.4
GHz network:
Before connecting, make sure that the
router is using such a network or make
the appropriate settings.
• The password of the router must be
correct and no special characters are
recognized. The router account and
password must not be longer than 32
digits.
• Make sure that the router‘s wireless
setting is WPA2 encryption.
• If the router is already connected to
too many appliances (including mobi-
le phone or PC), first disconnect some
devices, then turn off and restart the
router.
• If you have problems establishing a
connection, you can try to remove the
device from the router‘s MAC filter list
(if enabled)
and/or add the following addresses
to your firewall whitelist: hekr.me,
hekrus.me, hekreu.me .
• Perform regular firmware updates by
tapping the icon in the upper left
corner of the main display window
of the „Wisen“ app and via „Manage-
ment“ select the hood.
Via „Firmware Spec“ you can now
check the current software status and
perform an update if necessary.
