4. Operating the hood
4.1 Control panel
Light control:
• To switch the light on and off, press
the key in working state.
Switching on / off
• After connecting, the hood switches to
standby mode.
• Press the key to start operation at
the lowest power level.
• To stop operation and switch to stand-
by mode, press the key again.
Setting the power level
• The appliance has a total of 10 power
levels (9 + booster function).
• Select a power level from 1 to 9 by
using the slider control or tap the
desired level directly.
• You can also use the key to set the
desired power level: Pressing briefly
will increase the power in single steps,
holding it leads to a smooth, faster
setting.
After level 9, the setting returns to
level 1.
• To immediately adjust the power to
the lowest level, press the key below
the slider.

Booster function
• The 10th speed level is the booster /
high performance level.
• To start the booster function, touch
and hold the key below the slider
for 2 seconds.
• A beep will be heard, the highest level
setting of the slider will start flashing
and the performance of the hood will
be maximized.
• To stop the booster function, use the
slider to set a lower power level.
• After 5 minutes the booster function is
automatically deactivated.
Timer (automatic switch-off):
• Pressing the key during operation
causes the hood to switch off automa-
tically after 3 minutes (with a beep).
The flashing of the inicator light
indicates the running countdown.
• To deactivate the timer, press the
key again.
