Operation of the oven
Switching on / off
•
To turn the oven on or off, press and hold the On/Off key
for 3 seconds.
Note:
•
The first time the oven is switched on, the display shows
„12:00“ and the icon flashes 6 times.
To use the oven, you must first set the current time,
as described below.
After 6 seconds the flashing stops and after 5 minutes wit
-
hout operation the oven switches off automatically.
Setting the time
To display the current time when switched on.
This must be set before use
.
•
Turn on the appliance and press the
key.
The hour display will start flashing.
•
Use the
and
keys to set the current number of hours
and wait 3 seconds for the minute display to start flashing.
You can then use the and
keys to set the number of
minutes.
•
After 3 seconds without further action, the display will stop
flashing. The time setting is completed.
•
After switching off, the time is no longer displayed.
However, you can display it permanently by pressing and
holding the On/Off key for 5 seconds to activate the stand
-
by mode. This increases the power consumption from 0.5W
to 1W and the oven light switches on.
Pressing the
key turns it off again.
Selecting heating functions and programs
•
Use the key to switch between the selection menus
for heating functions
and automatic programs (see
tables).
•
Use the
and keys
to select the desired heating mode
from the active selection menu.
• Press the
key to confirm. (After 3 seconds without any
action, the selection is confirmed automatically.)
Setting the temperature
•
After you have selected a heating function / program, press
the
key. The temperature indicator on the display starts
flashing.
•
Use the
and
keys to set the desired target temperature.
• Press the
key to confirm. (After 3 seconds without any
action, the selection will be confirmed automatically.)
•
The
icon on the display indicates the active heating
process.
Notes:
•
By simultaneously pressing the and
and key, you
can switch between degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• For Defrost
no temperature can be selected as the
oven is not heated in this function. The temperature dis
-
play will show
.
Setting the duration of cooking time
For cooking for a selected period of time. After the set time
has elapsed, the oven switches off automatically.
The cooking time can be set to a maximum of 6 hours.
•
After you have selected the heating mode and temperature,
press the key
once. The
icon appears on the display
and the hour display starts flashing.
•
Use
the and keys
to set the desired number of hours,
wait 3 seconds for the minute display to flash, and then use
the and keys
to set the minutes.
•
After 3 seconds without any further action, the display will
stop flashing and the setting will be confirmed automatically.
The heating process is started.
•
After the set time has elapsed, the heating process is termi
-
nated and an alarm signal sounds. To interrupt the alarm,
press one of the keys , or .
If no action is taken, the alarm is automatically stopped after
2 minutes and the oven switches off after a further 3 minutes
if no action is taken.
Setting the start time of cooking time
For setting a delayed start time of the cooking process.
The selected heating mode is automatically started after the
set time has elapsed.

After you have selected the heating mode and tempera

ture, press the key twice until the
icon appears on
the display.
•
When the hour display starts flashing, use
the and
keys to set the number of hours to the desired start time,
wait 3 seconds for the minute display to flash, and use
the
and
keys to set the minutes.
•
After 3 seconds without further action, the display will stop
flashing and the setting will be confirmed automatically.
•
After the set time has elapsed, a signal sounds and the
heating process is started.
Example:
If the time is set to 1 hour (1:00) at 10:00 a.-m.,
the oven starts to heat automatically at 11:00 a.m.
