NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
To avoid overheating and damages:
− Do not block the air intake or exhaust vents located at the
rear and bottom sides of the cooktop.
− Always leave a gap of approximately 4 inches around the
exterior of the cooktop during use.
− Always clean the glass and cooking surfaces before
use. Do not place towels, aluminum foils or other similar
objects between the cooktop and cookware during use.
Choice of pots and pans
Only use pots and pans which are suitable for the
induction cooktop.
− Suitable pots and pans are those with a base made of
steel, cast iron or enameled iron. Check the markings on
the cookware or if a magnet clings to the base of it. The
pots and pans must have a flat bottom with a diameter
from 4.7 - 10 inches.
− Unsuitable pots and pans are those with a base made
of metals (e.g. aluminum, bronze, copper and stainless
steel) to which a magnet does not cling and non-metallic
cookware made of glass, ceramic, plastic, etc. Pots and
pans with a non-flat base or with a bottom diameter
smaller than 4.7 inches or larger than 10 inches are also
not suitable.
− Always check with the manufacturer when you are not
sure if the cookware is suitable for the induction cooktop
or not.
