INSTALLATION
OPERATION
Problem
The shade limits have been lost or the LED is blinking RED when installed.
Solution
The internal mechanical limit needs to be adjusted on shade.
■
Raise shade, disconnect power and remove shade from the window, see “Removing the Shade (If Necessary)” on
page 12.
■
Lay shade on a flat surface and remove idle-side end cap (not the end cap on the same side as the wand) by
gently tapping at each corner of end cap with flat blade screwdriver and mallet to remove it without it becoming
damaged.
■
Push a

CAUTION:
When pressing the Allen wrench into the end, you are compressing a spring and freeing it from a
gear. Before compressing the spring, be sure the Allen wrench is fully engaged. Test by gently turning the Allen
wrench; it should not turn.
■
Push the Allen wrench in until it stops. This will compress the spring.
■
Rotate the Allen wrench ¼ turn to raise the upper limit by 1-2".
➤
Left-Side Adjustment.
Rotate Allen wrench ¼ turn clockwise.
➤
Right-Side Adjustment.
Rotate Allen wrench ¼ turn counterclockwise.
■
Re-install end cap by lining up tabs and gently tapping with a plastic mallet on each corner to secure the end cap.
■
Re-install shade and reconnect power.
■
Put shade into limit adjust mode by pushing up on the wand, release, then within ½ a second push and hold the
wand up. After approximately 6 seconds, the shade will buzz and a red LED will flash continuously to indicate the
upper limit is ready to be adjusted
■
Raise shade up until the shade contacts hard stops and new upper limit will set.
