To send an emergency alarm, press the Emergency Alarm key. The emergency
alarm icon

will be displayed in the status bar, and the alias or ID of an

emergency group call, emergency alarm icon

and outgoing message icon

will be displayed on the LCD screen.

When a response is received,

“

Emergency alarm succeeded

”

will be displayed

on the LCD screen.

When no response is received and the maximum times of alarm have reached,

“

Emergency alarm failed

”

will be displayed on the LCD screen. The radio will

quit emergency alarm mode automatically.

Note:

If the alarm type is Secret or Secret with Voice, there is no audio-video prompt
during an emergency alarm.

5.3.2 Receiving Emergency Alarm
