IMPORTANT: ALWAYS LOCATE THE STOVE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO MINIMIZE THE NUMBER OF
OFFSETS AND/OR HORIZONTAL RUNS. A 1/4” VERTICAL RISE IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY 12” OF
HORIZONTAL RUN.
The following table shows the relationship between vertical and horizontal vent lengths and will help you to determine
the correct vent lengths for optimum stove performance.
HOW TO USE THE VENT TABLE
1. Determine the height of the system and the number of elbows required.
2. Use the Venting Chart to determine the maximum horizontal distance allowed.
