ADJUSTMENTS
Angled cuts- Adjusting bevel angle
This Plunge Cut Track Saw can be tilted for angular cuts from 0
0
to 48
0
.
1) Make sure the Plunge Cut Track Saw is disconnected from the power source.
2) Loosen the front bevel lock knob (A) Fig.6 and the rear bevel lock knob (B). Tilt
the saw until the pointer (C) lines up with your desired cutting angle on the
bevel scale (D). Retighten both bevel lock knobs.
3) The bevel pointer (C) Fig.6 is set properly at the factory. After prolonged usage,
if the pointer is not accurate, it should be adjusted properly. Make a test cut,
verify the bevel angle, if an adjustment is needed, loosen pointer screw and
reposition the pointer. Retighten screw once adjustment is made.
Blade kerf alignment indicator(s)
This Plunge Cut Track Saw comes with two blade kerf alignment indicators
(notches) on the base of the saw. These notches are designed to help you align
your cuts with your workpiece. Mark your workpiece with a cut line.
If using this Plunge Cut Track Saw without a track
, align the “0” mark (A) Fig.7
with the cut line mark you made on your workpiece for all straight cuts. For 45
0
bevel cuts, align the “45” mark (B) Fig.7 with the cut line mark you made on your
workpiece.
If using this Plunge Cut Track Saw with a track
, align the “0” mark (A) Fig.7
with the cut line mark you made on your workpiece.
Note: Blade thickness may vary, it is recommended to make tests along a cut line
to determine if the alignment notches are adequate guides to use.
