ASSEMBLY

INSTALLING DRIVE BELT & SANDING DISC UPPER GUARD

1. Position the drive belt & disc sanding upper guard (A) Fig.7 over the pulleys as

shown. 

2. Line up the two holes in the guard with the holes in the casting of the sanding disc

housing, fasten the upper guard (A) using two pan head screws and washers (B)

Fig.7 and (A) Fig.8.

Note: It is recommended to install the pan hd screw (A) Fig.8 and the upper guard (B)

shown using a Phillips screwdriver placed through a pre-cut hole located near the

sanding belt drive pulley and holding the pan head screw as shown.

3. Do not fully tighten the pan head screws at this time, you will need to adjust the

upper guard position once the sanding disc is installed.

INSTALLING INNER DRIVE BELT GUARD

1. The inner drive belt guard (A) Fig.9 get installed at the rear of the sanding disc upper

guard (B).

2. Position the inner drive belt guard inside of the sanding disc upper guard. The bent

tabs will keep it in place, make sure they are facing inwards. Insert the long pan

head screw (A) Fig.10 through the sanding disc upper guard as shown. Secure the

inner drive belt guard using hex. nut (C) Fig.9.
