3. Webpage LAN Page
Users tab
Click the Users tab on the LAN page. You can set a password for the webpages. Password
protection is invalid for auto control programming that uses VISA or sockets.
● Resetting the password
To reset the password to its default value (blank), reset it from the front panel (p.14) , or send
a SYST:COMM:LAN:RES command (p.42) .

1 Enter old password The default value is blank because there is no set password.
2 Enter new password
Enter a password using at least four characters. Spaces and special
characters cannot be used in the password.
3 Retype new password
Enter the same password again.
4 Apply button
Applies the changes.
• After changing LAN parameters, you may be asked to close the webpage.
• After you change the LAN parameters, you may be asked to restart the PAV.
