Sleeper Bench
Assembly Instructions
Drawer Tie Removal
1. Once the sleeper bench is in it’s final
location for use, lift and remove the
upholstered mattress and plastic
deck to access the top end of the
drawer ties. Detach the Velcro
®
hook
ends of the drawer tie from the Velcro
loop patches on the bench frame rail
(Figure 3 & Detail E).
2. Pull the trundle drawer out to expose
the other Velcro connection points
of the drawer ties at the rear panel.
Detach the Velcro
®
hook ends of
the drawer tie from the Velcro loop
patches on the backrest stiffener
(Figure 4 & Detail F).
Note:
Retain the drawer ties for
future relocation of the bench. They
help keep the trundle drawer closed
while moving any distance on
casters.
Note:
If the trundle drawer does not
stay sufficiently closed or the drawer
is too hard to pull open, drawer
tension adjustment may be required.
Before placing the plastic deck and
upholstered mattress back onto the
sleeper bench assembly, reference
“Drawer Tension Adjustment”
instructions on the next page.
