Sleeper Bench
Assembly Instructions
Unpacking Bench Unit (cont.)
4. Do not remove drawer ties until
bench is installed at it’s final
location for use. The drawer ties
keep the trundle drawer closed while
transferring the bench on casters to
its final location. Take note of the
drawer tie reminder tag located on
one drawer tie (Figure 2 & Detail C).
Caution:
The Hiatus Sleeper Bench
is heavy. While transferring the
bench off the pallet and into the
upright position, avoid crashing
the casters to the floor. Maintain
control of the bench while rotating
onto the casters. Avoid pivoting the
bench directly onto the casters while
rotating the bench in the upright
position as this may damage the
casters (Figure 2).
5. With the assistance of a second
person, carefully rotate the bench to
the upright position onto the floor
(Figure 2).
Note:
Bench frame locking casters
may be locked. Unlock all four
casters before moving bench to it’s
final location for use (Detail D).
6. Roll the sleeper bench to it’s final
location.
