Step 7.Inspect Test Set Deck Chassis to Determine if Tape is Needed

Examine the test set deck chassis under the corner of the Test Set 

Motherboard you located earlier, and compare it to the photo in 

Figure 2

. If a 

cut-out notch exists on the chassis where the tape is shown in 

Figure 2

, you do 

NOT need to install the tape. However, if a cut-out notch does NOT exist, 

install a piece of mylar tape (included in the kit contents) as shown in the 

graphic. The tape eliminates any possibility of the Test Set Motherboard 

shorting against the test set deck.
