Installation Procedure for the Upgrade

If all of the boards are version H or greater, proceed to
4.
If your boards are
not
version H or greater, remove the synthesizer boards
for upgrading:

Save all mounting hardware (except the stabilizer bracket) for reuse.

Step 6. Remove Some Bottom-Side (Test Set) Cables

1. Place the analyzer bottom-side up on a flat surface.
IMPORTANT!
This step includes disconnecting and laying aside several gray
cables. Ensure that they are labeled.

Be careful not to damage the center pins of the semi-rigid cables. Some
flexing of the cables may be necessary but do not over-bend them.
Leave the gray flexible cables, the wire harnesses, and the ribbon cables
connected where possible. Any that are removed should be labeled for
reconnection later.
When removing a cable, also remove the plastic cable clamp, if present. It
is normal for some of the cable clamp’s adhesive to remain.
