Step 4: Review Windows Configuration
Remote Desktop Connection
The standard Microsoft application “Remote Desktop Connection” allows you to
remotely login to the M9038A across the LAN from another computer. It only
works if the accounts have passwords.
If your Administrator password is set on your M9038A, then the Remote Desktop
Connection is enabled by default.
Anyone with network access to your M9038A can control your
M9038A using the user name of local\Administrator and the
publicly known default password of:
Keysight4u!
For your environment, you must determine if this is a useful feature
or a security problem. If it’s a security problem, then change the
password or disable Remote Desktop Connection.
