Label printing
When turned on the printer and tablet will pair to each other automatically, you may test this pairing by selecting
PRINT TEST PAGE option the printer should then print the windows logo( please ensure the printer is turned on ).
Should the printer not connect use the reset button to reconnect? The options and advanced buttons of this screen
should only be used after advice from the KeyLogbook help team Default numbers of labels can also be set here.
You may also choose to enter the number of labels each time you print the labels by ticking the always specify
number of copies option. Please note Keylogbook will never print less than 2 labels per sample.
Importing project details and drilling instructions
The KeyLogbook team have developed their own drilling instruction sheet, it is available from the Keylogbook web
site as a free download and there is also a blank copy on the tablet for you to pass to your clients. The project
information must be entered and must
be saved with a file named
“
Instruction- your project title
”
, then by
following the steps below you can import all the information into the programme with no typing in of details thus
saving time and eliminating the chance of errors.
There are two ways to enter the project information into KeyLogbook
The recommended option is the import all the project data from
KeyLogbook’s own instruction sheet. KeyLogbook
can use its own email account or an inserted USB stick to import your client or customer instructions via the
IMPORT button on the project window, just press IMPORT and follow the on screen instructions. After importing
you will be returned to the project screen where you choose the project and press OPEN.
The project data can also be input manually by using the CREATE button and following the on screen instructions,
it is vital that some pieces of the project details are input and you will be required to enter the appropriate data
during this procedure so please ensure you have it all to hand . You will then be taken directly into the main drilling
templates once completed.
