Data Entry Menu
You can display the Data Entry Menu screen (shown below) by tapping anywhere on the screen outside the screen
navigation keys
Once in the Data Entry Menu you can click on the
View Log
button (bottom right) to return to the log sheet at any
time.
Adding a sample
To add your first sample to the log sheet follow the steps below:-
1)
Tap any cell on the Log Sheet to display the Main menu
Tap the
Sample
button.
– now select the sample you wish to record, here we have selected a BULK (B) sample
for this you will be asked to enter the
start depth, then press
next
and enter the base depth of the sample Tap the
Finish
button.
Note that each different sample will required differing imformation
When the last question is displayed on the screen the Next button in the
bottom right of the screen is replaced with a Finish button.
You can review and edit the answers to the questions by using the Back and
Next buttons.
Label Printing
You will now be asked if you wish to print a label for the sample. Ensure that the printer is turned
on and tap
Yes
to print the label as shown below. You will note that the programme prints two labels one for the
inside of the sample and one for the outside in accordance with current standards. There is no facility to print all the
sample labels at once, samples should labelled immediately in line with the current standards. The label contains
all the project details along with the samples unique number in both a readable version and a Barcode.
