MAINTENANCE
• Unscrew the maintenance port.
• Remove the immersion pipe.
• Ensure that the level <A> in the wastewater container is beneath
the pump flange <33>. Pump the wastewater container empty
if required. See 2.5 for hand pump connection.

• Preparing the station for maintenance, draining, see 7.3.3
Plastic fitting
• Remove and clean both* backflow protection devices
• Ensure that the check valve <16> is free of damage.
The seal must be in optimum condition.
• Reinstall both* backflow protection devices.
• Ensure that the ventilation unit is in the CLOSED
position, see [19].
* One (Mono) or two (Duo) backflow protection devices,
depending on station arrangement
Grey cast iron fitting
On both* backflow protection devices:
• Disassemble the access panel <27> and remove the
check valve <16>.
• Clean the check valve and the interior of the backflow
protection device.
• Ensure that the check valve is free of damage. The seal must
be in optimum condition.
• Reinsert the check valve. Ensure here that the bevel <26>
is in the position depicted.
• Reinstall the access panel
• Ensure that the ventilation unit is in the CLOSED position, see [20].
