2.4 Installing the pump / lubricating sealing
areas:
The electrical components of the system are
packaged separately in order to prevent any da-
mage during shipping. The pump should be pla-
ced in the chamber hole and secured with the 3
red securing latches. The pump outlet should be
inserted into the gasketed opening and secured
with the red plastic locking clamp (see Illustration
7). Be sure that about 1 meter of pump cable slack
is left inside the pumping chamber so that if the
pump needs to be removed it can be pulled out of
the tank and placed on the floor nearby.
Make sure that the pump is set properly into the
pump hole and secured with the three latches.
Run the see-through air pressure hose from the
Aqualift F through the cable conduit. Make sure
that the air pressure hose is not bent or kinked
and has a continuous positive slope from the
pump to the control unit (no coils or loops). The
optical sensor should also be inserted in its ap-
propriate opening which will first require that the
protective purple plug is first removed. After con-
necting the power cable, optical sensor cable
and the see through air pressure hose to the con-
trol unit and connecting power to the control unit,
the system is operational.
Before connecting the cables to the control unit
be sure to observe the instructions in the instal-
lation and operation manual of the control unit.
