MAINTENANCE
Any replacement parts must be of RIPAGREEN
®
origin. The manufacturer
SEFMAT declines any responsibility and any request for recourse in case of
non respect of the instructions or disassembly of the lance by a person not
qualified to carry out operations of maintenance .
Contact your dealer for any work requiring the RIPAGREEN
®
to be dismantled.
The only authorized operations are described in chapter "TROUBLESHOOTING".
PERIODIC CHECKS AND CLEANING :
Necessary equipment : - one 19 wrench
-
a compressed air blower
-
grease.

Every day before start working :
Check the good condition of the gas hose on its whole length
and its connectors. In case of cuts or cracks, even in surface,
it is imperative to replace it with an original RIPAGREEN
®
hose with crimped connectors.

Every 2 weeks :
Unscrew the hose and clean (with compressed air) the grid filter
located in the swivel connector . If the deposit on the filter does not
disappear, disassemble with a needle, clean and replace the filter
in its housing.
Clean (with compressed air) the grid of the combustion nozzle and
insist on the chimney tube in the center because it can be blocked
by the pollution raised during the weeding. During this operation,
the spark plug must be maintained or removed to prevent it from
falling.
Check that the spark plug is present in the combustion nozzle
and in good condition. If the ceramic is cracked, replace the
spark plug.
Warning! The spark plug is clipsed in its housing (it must not
fall).
